Its been a while since i did a photo shoot, so I did a shoot on my Newly arrived Revoltech Arc, Chouginga and Tengen Toppa gurren laganns.

Revoltech Gurren lagann has been here since TTGL knows when by the way.
I shot the image with Zh3us' Nikon D90

Time for Chouginga Gurren Lagann. To be honest, this revoltech is the most fun to shoot with, as the acccesories are quite awesome.

That's all for my post today! I never regreted spending about 200 plus SGD on them. its worth it. Since its from the best show ever made to date.

Meet up with the WLNF for figure shoot. We ended up doing a shoot on my new figure, the super robot chogokin Alteisen.

This is also a review, its my first time doing such things, so do point out my mistakes.

The packaging (pics here are done with a fujifilm fine pix) :




Quite awesome packaging, but i can't see the figure like this..

Not much accessories... let's check out the figure shall we?


Not gonna pose 1st, just show an overview of the whole figure first:

Close up on the head (sorry this is the closest i could go with this compact)


Arms


Shoulder, the fins are movable


Legs, made of metal at lower leg area and pretty movable despite being bulky, the poses later might prove it.


Boosters are movable as well.


Okay time for some poses(Pictures from now on are done by nutcase's D5000 with the power of flash, posing done by me):



Missile compartment are movable too. Some bad marks on the inner left missile compartment.

Overall
-The articulation is GREAT compared to the Robot Damashii series (Lots of articulation detail).
-A few bad paint jobs were noticed.
-Barely any loose joints, and great stability thanks to the metal legs
-Arm and leg joints are sturdy as its made of metal
-Not a good idea to play it with water cos of the metal parts.
-Pretty heavy due to the metal parts, best is to not drop it, heavy things and gravity does not go well with each other.

Conclusion: If you have no money to get Soul of the Chogokin and really desire some decent quality super robots, i recommend this series of figures; Super Robot Chogokin. I recommend getting this figure too.

I'm only here to review IMO, but in the end its up to you to decide.

I found it in a bus. crawling up my arm. in that freezing bus. so i decided to keep it safe in my spec box until i arrive at my destination.
Then i took Yukito's camera, the Lumix LX3, to take pics of it.

And surprise surprise! Black Rock Shooter Figma! This little beauty will be joining my jolly toy army for shoots! i intend to hook her up with Decade. Decade will make use of the chains for some delicious violation.

A super short review:
Nice cannon, awesomely done.
Hair has quite a nice looking texture.
2 Figma stands (one with pincers, pretty great!)
Gotta love the glossy look on her outfit.
Quite a good paint job on 1st look.


Well I gotta go now. National service tomorrow. Look forward to my next post!
